About Devi
Devi is one of the many games from the Attack Wagon Arcade Suite. I took the role of Game Programmer, implementing all of the game’s functionality, some of which I feature here. Since we had the freedom to create what we wanted, I worked with an artist to design the player, enemies and enviroment. This project helped me learn a lot about 2D games, Beamable and WebGL.
Gameplay Mechanics
I implemented all gameplay features
Astronaut
The goal of the game is to collect as many astronauts as possible. Every time one is picked up more obstacles spawn.
Invulnerability Pickup
Every 1000 points you collect rewards you with an invulnerability pickup. When consumed you can ram through obstacles in order to free up space
Healh Pickup
Every 2 or 3 rounds a random health pickup spawns. When on full health it rewards points, if not then it gives the player one extra life
